Lads , this is my first time to post here, and I hope that this is the correct place, firstly, I'm in Dublin and I have broken my canon camcorder, it got wet and wont record, anyone know where to get it fixed if its worth it etc,

Anyway I need a cam corder with night vision and Mini DV willing to pay 500 euro, I looked at a Sony DCR HC35 and a Canon MV960 the sony has can operate at 5 Lux but can go to 0 lux with what it calls "Night Shot"

The Canon can operate at 2 Lux.

I'd like this for an upcoming ghost hunt that I'm going on so I guess that the 0lux would be best. As I have no knowledge of what is a good and bad model can anyone help/advise.

I'd also look at a 2nd hand one (must be miniDV)

I'm starting a Photograohy class in a couple of weeks , so I'll prob be back asking about a decent Digital camera too,
