Many team Captains played staring roles for there teams in the city west(not me 3rd team member out). I can think of two off the top of my head Ken (i go deep) Corkery Cork and big slick Carlow whom were the last man standing on there teams.

However the outstanding performance from a captain has to be Richie Lawlor from the Wexford team. The man actually managed to get knocked out Twice in the event. Well done Richie Magic! no one else could of lost 60+ points for the cause ;)

I have a rival for the " Best Captain Award "

How about Meath captain Mike McInerney who decided not to turn up along with another team memmber. Needless to say we propped up the league!

Feck if I knew there were re buys I'm sure Waterford would have picked up that 2nd place

i cant understand how Waterford didnt get in the money:confused:
Surely with TheRock and Kakak1 playin it was guaranteed plus points, did u guys even play a hand:p

i hear nicky is recruitin some trained chimps for next year, just teach them to recognize AA and KK and fold everything else(no different to you two anyway) they probably wouldnt even expect any prize money either:D

Well Richie you might have noticed your trained "chimp" (sorry Alex I'm only using Richies words) got further than anyone else on your team. Now how many hands did he play at the final table other than the one he was knocked out in ???

You find it difficult to recognise the difference between a sociable player (who wants to be at every party) and a tight / agressive player who want to go deep.

It might be an idea to get a few chimps for next year, your points total would definitely increase, only they cannot have a re buy, only the captain of wexford is allowed that

...your name reflects the combined ability of the waterford team - pure kak

ul chimps - i think it all went wrong when they got hungry in level 4 and scabby power wouldn't hand over the bananas

It must be very difficult when you cannot recognise quality, like even in a name e.g. KAKAK = King, Ace, King, Ace, King, how could you expect to recognise a quality team.

Stick with your zoological thoughts, chimps & shi*e, if the first is not applicable you can be sure the second is :p:p:p

In fairness to Wexford they did have Two players who ran well. But its no coincidence that there top player Alax plays almost exclusively at blazinaces in waterford and the young chap "he brought in late" would of been well schooled by Alex.

As for the rest of the wexford team, well collectively they may have the ability to go deep(maybe final four tables) in a Cpt event one day if they keep working on there game
