Hey, I moved to Dublin from Carlow a few months ago and I would love to start street busking about Dublin. I play alot of Neil Young, Bob Dylan and anything from Damien Jurado to Tom waits and The Arcade Fire, and also some orginials. I play guitar and Harmonica so Im looking for guitar players and singers too and anything else welcome! If anybody wants to start up something please get back to me. All the best. Paul.

If anyone that is reading this and is interested in forming an orginial band please get in touch also. I have some songs posted on Myspace. These are mainly acoustic songs because of the problems I found with doing electric songs one my own with one mic! (But I do love electric songs, I'll post one soon) I have recording gear, and a heap of instruments, and even a practice space in phibsbrough in Dublin.

Have a listen to whats posted below and get in touch.
    All the best, Paul

I dont really know how much buskers would make at all. I personally have no experience. Id imagine it would vary alot tho, depending on location and times etc. I would imagine you could make a fair bit on a Saturday on Grafton St or around Temple Bar. Any ideas anyone?

Around Christmas, if you're good, can easily make €120 for 5/6 hours work. That'd be two of us at it. Normally we can earn enough for the night out between us. maybe 60-80
