Opel Kadett City ...& Coupe's

    A pal of mine is selling his Kadett....it's really hot, way faster than my V6 Cortina....it ahs a Turbo Isuzu engine in it and is seriously nice...i think its about 1977...anyone interested?

    Isn't that a Kadett hatchback not a coupe? I think they were called a City.

    It's a city. the coupe is a thing of beauty.
    Conversely, my dad had one of these. The paintjob would put me off, though.

    If I could extract a clip from the DVD I have of Santa Pod and showed you it flying down the strip, you would think more of it.....:D

    i thought there would be a strong Opel following out there./..

    Yes, it is a 'City', i.e. hatchback version. (Thread title edited).

    It's always great to see Kadett's in such good condition, but I prefer them in original spec.

    I've always had a liking for Opels of the late 70's/80's (probably because
    the nearest garage to us when I was a kid was an Opel dealership!)...plus the fact that my father, brother and I owned Kadett's at various times.

    The Manta, Kadett Coupe and Kadett SR/GTE (80-84 model) have always been particular favourites of mine.
