I just downloaded the trial and imported 1000 hands. What sort of things can it tell you? As far as i can see VPIP = tight/loose, PFR = Aggression. Are they really the only two important ones?

And can you add tribeca STT's and MTT's to it?

Gerry I downloaded this last week as well and I've 3.5K hands on there now. One of the most useful things I think is to look back at your biggest loosing hands, replay them, and learn from your mistakes.

Also, a must for this programme is GameTime + its a free add on that overlays stats onto your ring game tables.

Pokertracker is not compatible with tribeca tournaments yet.

Thanks for the article, i've been looking for something like that.

And that GameTime is great! I put it on the table i was playing at and i didnt even know i had stats on them all!

Just don't depend too much on GT+. ALWAYS go with your gut feeling first

Scotty its says on the site its compatible with tribeca, but I cant get the free version to work with it?

Any ideas?

Only works with Tribeca cash games Ollie. Are you telling it the right place to look for your hand histories?

c:\documents and settings\your PC username\application data

Did you set your Tribeca to archive your HH?

Not sure, think I'll buy it anyway and get one of the lads to help me set it up, should help me with my fishy cash game

Lads buy PokerAce HU it is much better then GT+, although it's not free, but it is far superior...

I got the gametime thing to work with a STT. Some thing came up saying to click on a marker and place it on the table yout playing at.

I had the stats from the people from cash games though, would people tend to have different stats in STT's and cash games?

just made the investment now..
i've imported all party and williamhill hands but there is no auto-import for "poker network" or "paradise"? can anybody tell me how these hands are imported?

Worth it's weight in gold. I think there is a promotion that you can do to get PT for free. It's an easy one too, just by playing 50 raked hands with bodog. Search this forum.

another great use of PT is to keep track of the rake you are paying (it will make you puke when you see it)...use this info to shop for best rakeback deal and it will add mightily to your return

I just bought pokertracker and im totally confused. Im having problems linking hand histories in tribeca for cash games?
The below in italics is whats reading out.
I thought i was meant to be seeing vpip's etc above peoples avatars etc?.
I have hand histories enabled on tribeca and it seems i have the right folder linkage like scotty# mentions although i cant visually see this folder. Any ideas whats going wrong?.

rounder123, there was several threads about importing Tribeca hands to PT when it first became Tribeca-compatible. A quick search and you might find the answer in one of these.

Thanks and im sure it seems a repetitive type of thread but ive checked the other threads and they seem to be questions about the functions and comparing stats etc but nobody having the same problems just getting it working.

make sure you have the option to archive hand histories checked (in options of poker client)

Yeah ive got that 'archive hand history' option checked but still no luck. I Followed the help in the link ollieboy posted too and i seem to be doing the right thing.

my hand history location looks ok
c:\documents and settings\Aidan\application data\CoolWetSand

so i dont know what the problem could be.

I could never get it to automatically import files either, I just do it manually.

I got it to do it automatically, but only on the latest release. Still cant use it.

Wont let me do this. I followed this route and it says the hands are already in the database. Oh i dunno!.

In the last Tab, in the ring game stats window, make sure you have tribeca tables clicked, and all the limits in the box on the right hand side, maybe PT is not configured correctly to show all games? I'm sure you've though of this allready though!?!
