    i'm sort of torn between, rolling eyes for another diana fiasco and pure shock in that the queen of england gets her own hollywood film (the castle and wealth and no need to pay taxes is just icing.)

    of course there can be argued there is slight unfair bias in my opinion being irish (though their shouldnt be)

    But I do feel that when someone does a bio pic, you normally do it when the subject character is out of the media's camera. i.e give a different fresh perspective, hence why alot of them tend to come when a biography that shows a *different person* is released (ala the marie antionette movie).

    But Tony Blair is still prime minister, the Queen and prince charles and most of the rest of the royal family are still driving forces of today. You dont want to see a film about them now. Maybe 10, 20 years down the line. But not now.

    Its like with the uneasyness people have with the two towers and united 98 films, they feel its too soon, 9/11 is still a modern topic (and not a historical one)
