I have a creative zen touch.. and I cant put songs on it anymore.. It worked a couple of weeks ago and now it doesnt!

Everytime I plug in the usb cable and try to sync songs onto it.. using WMP (11) it stops responding.. My cpu usage goes up to a 100% and stays that way.... and then I get some non responding program by the name of ctpserver and event handler or something I cant quite remember and I have to restart my pc.. :D Some laugh!

Now I have reformatted the mp3 player and cleared the firmaware in hope that might work.. It did at the start I reinstalled the firmware.. from the creative website.. then I decided to get the new updated firmware and it screwed up the whole thing again...

Now I cant reinstall the firmware at all...

Ive tried install the software over and over again without any luck and am starting to get annoyed... lol

Sorry its so long.. and if you dont have a clue what im talking about fair enough haha:D!

    Any suggestions!?
    Thanks!

Personally, I don't have a clue, but that doesn't mean nobody does... it's only been .. er .. 20 and a half hours. Have you contacted Creative?

WMP11 caused endless problems for me with my Zen Micro (couldn't use drag'n'drop and got plenty of crashes) so I reverted to WMP10. I had to reload my firmware - WMP11 mangled it somehow. Still, it's a shame because WMP11 is faster for large music libraries .

My advice: Uninstall WMP11 and revert to WMP10 - it's still beta software, isn't it?
