    Hi folks

When I start up my pc I am getting a reminder to download Microsoft Updates. When I do this it then tells me they are ready to install. The latest update is Microsoft Service Pack3. However when I install this it goes as far as

    Initializing installation...done!
Installing Office XP Service Pack 3 (update 1 of 1)

However half way thru this I get asked to insert my Microsoft Office XP Small Business disc. The problem is I dont have this disc or ever had. The only one I have is the home edition one which doesnt satisfy it

I go back to square one again

Any ideas how to get past this?

    Cheers

Think you can choose to ignore certain updates as and when they come through.

Next time it pops up, have a look and see if there is a "Dont remind me about this update" checkbox down the bottom of the screen. This should (in theory) get rid of that pesky update :)

Just to be slightly more accurate, as this post was a bit vague, you have to choose custom install rather than express then I think u can uncheck it

yeah, on the choose updates to install screen you should be able to uncheck this update.
iirc it will then ask if you want to skip installing it in the future
