Tomponzi Investigations, Italy's largest private detective agency, has revealed that in almost 90% of cases, it is the cellphone that betrays extramarital activities.

It has even published tips on how adulterers should manage their cellphones - from deleting even the most "beautiful" messages of illicit devotion, to keeping the names of wives and mistresses apart on the address bar.

Port Elizabeth-based New National Party MP Alie van Jaarsveld this week composed this message for his new lover, NNP political researcher Renee Thompson: "I long for you. Renee, I am more in love with you than I was with anyone in my life. Please come sleep with me."

However, apparently pressing the wrong buttons on his cellphone, he sent it to his estranged wife, local councillor Anne-Marie van Jaarsveld, who said she was "shocked and disgusted".
    ...
A Tomponzi survey found that in 87% of cases of infidelity it was contact via cellphone that raised suspicions and gave the game away. One client, now divorced, revealed that, if it weren't for the phone, she would have never found out about her husband's philandering - which, as it turned out, was common knowledge to all except her.
So what tips do you have for managing your phone philandering ?

I was trying to get a technical discussion going without having to drag morality into it :(

you could make the mistake of leaving the wrong sim in the phone.
the best way around this is to delete all information pertaining to the woman you are cheating with.
memorise her number too. that way you don't need to leave it in your phone.

Give said lady friend a boys name in phone e.g Philomena = Phil or Philip.

Set phone NOT to save sent messages, clear screen after each message, empty inbox regulary.

Yep, it's your only man. Two sims will just make things awkward and potentially create a minefield (like when you accidently send an email to the wrong person).

Alternatively you could just explain to your GF that while steak is great you don't want to eat it everyday and sometimes you're just hungry for hamburger. If shes an understanding sort she will accept your lifestyle choice and sit home dilligantly ironing your shirts and cooking your dinner while you go out for some fun on the side.
