Just want to know before i try. I've got my 2 raptors in a raid 0 array. Is it possible to set up another raid 0 with my other 2 seagate hd's using the same chip on the mobo? I have another hd that i use for backup so i'm not worried about the risks.

yep its possible as long as there are two sata chanels. look at the mobo sata connectors, if they are about a inch apart or a different colour your grand :)

*edit* also if there is 8 sata ports, 4 will be on each chan..if there is 6 it will most likely be on 1 chan. but the chan can be split for a 4 way raid 0 and a 2 way

Have created the raid volume, but cant see it when i boot to windows from other raid volume. Have i done something wrong? Shouldn't it be possible to see other raid array from windows? The disks are unformatted.

Did you try from the Disk Management interface?
