Hi, would appreciate any help with this.

The Dell Latitude CPx im using keeps dropping letters. Sometimes the E/D/C buttons don't appear to work, and then minutes later they'll be working again and it'll be some other group of letters not working.

    Very annnoying.

Any ideas? Could it be a software problem. The laptop is using Win98.

    Cheers.

More than likely a loose connector as the intermitent nature of the problem indicates.
