Australia-for 3 wks!

    I’m thinking about heading off to Australia for three weeks in January, is that long enough to see a bit of OZ? I keep on being told that is not enough time, blah, blah….
    Can someone give me a rough idea of an itiniery that can go by?

    My brother went for about that length (4 weeks) and loved it, saw loads and had a great time. Think he was in Sydney and Great barrier reef, maybe somewhere else too. It was enough for him to want to go back for a year after that and soon more permanently :)

    Hi there, myself and a friend went for 3 weeks last October and it worked out really well. I would definately recommend it. We flew through singapore to Cairns, were just in Singapore for a day which was all we would have wanted there and then went from Cairns to Whitsunday islands for 3 nights going around on a boat which was so fab and then we went on a bus to our next point of call to go to Frazer island for 2 nights and then we went to Sydney for a week and then got an internal flight from Brisbane to Melbourne and had a 5 nights in Melbourne. It worked out so well. Once you do the iteniary out first it will all work out really well. I'm jealous of you would love to be off again!
