Saw this in my local leisureplex, was very tempted to have a go, but it looked very different from traditional mario kart.

Its made by namco (and remembering starfox assault i stayed away) and I was wondering does anyone know if its any good?

Its got Pac man as a character, and a load of new weapons.

meh not much else to say about this. (played house of the dead 3 instead, damn i love that shotgun.)

Yes, if Namco stayed away and Argonaut or Nintendo took the reigns.

Only time I saw one of these machines was when I was in LA almost a year ago. Was tempted to give it a go as well. It looks like all the tracks are new (well from the attract demo) and there are new namco character and weapons. Supposedly it's rather good especially on the HD cabinets where it looks gorgeous. supposedly it plays very similar to Double Dash.

Yeah if you bring your memory card with double dash on it can you get new stuff the way you could with F-zero?

Never seen mk in an arcade, love it though. Is it any of the leisure plexs in Dublin?
