Anyone bought a PC off Ebay? They seem to sell a lot of good PCs at knockdown prices

Yeah I ment to say their are lots of auctioneers with shops on eBay selling what appears to be discounted PCs. I want to know if they're any good, much cheaper, worth the hassle etc etc?

well it really depends on what sellers\gear you are looking at. TBH, most of the stuff is cheap for a reason. Its cheapo stuff. There isnt neccarily anything wrong with it as such, its just not always great quality.

Like others have said, komplett, elara or ankermann are probably the best cost\quality balance.

I bought a barebones system of a guy in states for €400 delivered to here (mobo, cpu, ram, psu, case) of which I only really wanted the mobo, cpu and ram.It was delivered fine, bit slow as it took a month and had me a bit nervous alright but glad I did buy it now tho'!
Make sure you know they're a repuitable source before you part with your money!

I think I'll go with Komplett. A few people have recommended them to me and their local. Plus they have a good range of options to customise the PC.
