i was told when ordering this connection that it wasn't capped and had unlimited monthly usage allowances. but then i read that it is 40gb a month. which is cool as it is double the amount from my old eircom connection for the same price. but i also noticed that they say you can only download a gigabyte a day? does anyone know how strict they are on this?

    Hi

NTl are not strict at all, from the feedback of other users here if you go over the monthly cap, not sure how much, they will send you a letter to take it easy but they do not over charge you for it.

If they wanted to over charge they have to give you a way to know how much you use after each day.

Hope it keeps like that with the change to UPC/Chello.

    Thanks

    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

What nava said. I've gone over 100GB some months and haven't heard anything from them. My average would be below 40GB though...

Thats grand cause one all the new tv shows start back up my download rate will increase. it would be the daily rate of 1gb i'd be more concerned about rather than the monthly one as i wont exceed 40gb.
