Angeleyes - I am trying to arrange for Digitalbeginner to come to Galway to put on a session. Would you be up for this??

Can you let me know at mpatte7711@aol.com the type of thing you are interested in or want to cover so I can make sure its the right one for everyone??

    Thanks

Unless there is something specific you are looking for, consider joining your local camera club maybe?

Good course, I went in jan and it got me started. I'll be going to the advanced course in september if they run it!

I'm not sure of what your looking for but I did a beginners course with Peter Gorman (http://www.burrenworks.ie/photocourses.htm) and found it useful. He seems to run one day courses as opposed to a night course over a few weeks. I did mine in Ennis but he also ran them in Limerick as I had first seen his ad on the Limerick Post.

I now need to a bit more than the beginners and must contact him about an intermediate or advanced.

I hope the OP doen't mind me hijacking their post - Dunhoone I see the following course advertised and I'm wondering if it suits someone with a bit of experience with digital but with very litttle experience with DSLR - http://www.limericksc.ie/eveningcourses.php?mode=view&d_id=110&color=EB8AFD.
    Appreciate yours & others views.

Yeah it looks like a good intro alright. It will be a small class and the tutor I had was nice and relaxed and willing to answer particular questions people had. If you've got no interest in film at all it should be a good intro to digital slr photography - the course I did certainly was a great intro to film/digital slr photography - as well as a bit of a laugh.
