Yeah it should be good for you, Croatia is very scenic and nice enough. If you love fresh fish/seafood then its very good. I personally dont like seafood but found plenty of other nice things to eat. I wouldnt call it that much cheaper than here but a bit cheaper.

People are friendly but sometimes come across as not but this is just the culture.

You can do a day trip to Montenegro which is interesting and the weather should still be very good and ideal for swimming.

Hi, search on this forum for croatia as there is a lot of stuff. I was in Dubrovnik recently and it was absolutely beautiful! As above poster said, cheaper than here, xlnt seafood and fish, boat trips to the islands etc..
    Go and Enjoy yourselves :)

i was in croatia last year while i was interrailing, dubrovnik is a beautiful place. stunning scenary and great restaurants and bars, cheack out the old town. i was also in split, i personally didnt like it as much as dubrovnik but still a lovely town with some great places to go shopping an find a few bargins if your into that sort of thing. i wasnt in zagreb but lads i was with were and they said it was pretty ugly but than again they werent around it too much, we all know how cities contrast from one area to another.

you could spend some time in Split and travel around the islands. Dubrovnik is also really nice if you want to take it easy. there are restaraunts everywhere within the city walls.
