Just cause is meh, first 2 parts of demo are crap, 3 part is deadly, last part is meh again.

It looks good though. Deffo not worth full whack anyway.

I think Just Cause is really good, very different game play, which is nice to see for once....

I'd describe Just Cause as "Parachute Theft Auto". A slightly simplistic description maybe, but it's one of the first things that popped into my head when I played it!

    man both these games suck.

Just cause is brutal. Vehicles handle like crap, the combat system isn't the greatest (made up for by the sheer volume of health) and the graphics aint the best. Now crap graphics would not bother me but if the gameplay is dodgy and the graphics aint up to scratch then you are not left with very much to appreciate.

I like the idea of the game but on a huge open ended island I do not like doing missions which are timed. I think its a bad way to sell the demo, they should have let the user tackle the mission in their own time which would allow exploration and appreciation of the hard work to create such a world.

test drive unlimited is also well below par. Again the idea is class. I loved pulling up beside other users and drag racing with real people. But if you play PGR and then play this there is a world of a difference.

Now i know they are not the same game but they are driving games and in a driving game some fundamentals are common.

I will state again i don't mind graphics being below par but the gameplay has to make up for it and this just didn't.

I would not buy either of these if I was given the money. I might borrow just cause from a friend to play the full version which hopefully allows me to drive and parachute around the whole set of islands to my hearts desire

Not impressed with Just Cause demo. Yeah it's gone some gimmicky parachuting and "stunts" but that'll get old fast, I bet. The rest was a bit dull. Sure it's pretty, but that'll only get you so far.

This Test Drive Unlimited demo seems much better than the last, but I'm still a bit weary. The cars seem to handle better than before, in the last demo the cars were awful. Unless I'm imagining things. I hated the first demo, this one is "ok".

agree totally about Test Drive Unlimited. The last demo i found the steering to be way too sensitive and if you touched left or right the cars where all over the place.

There is still something missing though, its just not fun to drive the cars. yeah the handling is improved. Not once though did i get the same buzz as i do for pulling off decent power slide in PGR.

The fun comes from finding other players and racing them up a long road in and out of traffic but the driving mechanic still leaves a lot to be desired for me anyway.

Also the noise/sound the motorbike makes when you go over a bump is awful. That's just nit picking i know but there ya go

At first i hated the Just Cause Demo. It just felt a bit all over the place. But i decided to play it again today and it just felt much better. I was just more used to it and now i think i may get it!

Im downloading the Test Drive Unlimited Demo now(57%), hope its better than the last one!
