I have used a couple of different vendors to develope photos. I wanted to see who people use the most and what they thought of the quality and cost of others.

Heard great things about photobox.ie, what do others think?
Have a bad experience with Pixaco so would not recommend.
What do peole think of foto.com?

Maybe the mods could put up a survey of the results?

I recently started using Photobox and its great, really happy with the results and very fast delivery time. They seem to process your order that day and ship em out. So far I have been guaranteed the prints in 2 days max. And once was ordering on a Friday and having them by the Monday morning. Quality is spot on too.

I have always used Bonusprint and never had a problem with them.

Another vote for photobox. Ordered them on a friday, they arrived (Dublin city) next wednesday - they had been shipped on the same day they were ordered, so the delay was due to the lovely postal system. The prints were far sharper than others I had and didn't have a colour cast. Much cheapness, too :)

i've only ever used Foto.com (German crowd) haven't had any problems so far. Quality has been excellent.

they're much cheaper than Photobox in comparison

just checked on the costs of an 8" x 6"

    Photobox - €1.45 + P&P €2.50

    Foto.com - ¢25 + P&P €2.29

I counted the number of people using each service and then graphed them. I broke this into the two different types of film processing used by each online service. There is a quick score of fuji versus kodak at the top of the graph based on use. The number of people using each service based on this thread is present in the rest of the graph. The most popular service is photbox.ie/fuji up to and including today at 2.0

photobox.ie all the way. Been using them for years. Good rates, fast delivery and very nice prints from small to large.

what does your post mean, what are those numbers in that document and where are they from?

Do you upload full size files (1-2MB) or will a reduced size do? I've a load of holiday photos and it'll take ages to upload them. I've picked about 100 I want printed and they're 185MB in total.

I generally ftp mine to them and if I'm sending a large amount like you, I do it overnight with an ftp client that can resume the session if the connection drops for whatever reason. easiest way to upload lots of photos

Thanks. Sounds like a good plan.
