    Hello All,

I am thinking of buying a NEC ND-6750 dvd burner to upgrade my toshiba a20-s103 laptop before i move to New Zealand.

First off, do u think it may be cheaper to get the drive in NZ, its 74euro on Komplett?

Secondly, Will it be compatible with my laptop? I have looked into a lot of information about this and none is very conclusive.

The drive is the right size but i will need to attached the fitting attachment for the laptop and also the bezel on the front of the original drive has a step in it to go flush with the laptop form.

The nec drive has a straight bezel, will this be a problem?

    Any help would be appreciated!

Hi Energizer, just to your question of whether it'll be cheaper in NZ? Was down there for a few months at the start of the year and didn't see electronic goods being cheaper than here. Admitedly I was looking mainly at digital cameras and the like but if anything they were more expensive, also didn't have as much choice.

If you were going through and stopping off in say Singapore you'd definitely get something cheaper, but if not I'd say you'd have more online and retail shopping choices here, which would point to cheaper deals.

    Hope this helps

Does anyone know if the Front Bezel problem stated about will be a big issue?

    Bad fit, etc...
