Currently I work in a ground floor office and in a few months time my company is moving premises where they are planning on locating my department in the basement…

Hi All,

I have had a look at Oasis.gov.ie but can't see anything about this.

Does anyone have any reference to worker's rights regarding working conditions.

Currently I work in a ground floor office and in a few months time my company is moving premises where they are planning on locating my department in the basement below ground reasonably close to a river.

Can anyone let me know if they can change our working conditions by moving us underground where there is no natural light.

Once they have complied with all health and safety legislation there I can't think of any reason that would prohibit them from putting your department there.
