    Hi there,

We got it installed in our office today. So far pretty impressed with it. Got the 5mbit/1mbit package. So far getting full welly on it. Snagged an ISO off of heanet at 580KB/s and irishisptest gave me a whopping 4.6mbit/s down and 980kbit/s up.

We're in Carlow and it was only recently launched here so I'm hoping the more subs they get the service won't go to pot.

Just thought I'd mention how it is for us.

    Paul

Digiweb throttles misusers down to 64k, so you should be OK.

The cap is not 64K, is more than that to allow voice calls etc to still work. Roughly 150 Kilobits ........

That's better than some "broadband" systems give normally :) Of course if that is for an entire office or apartment block, it would be less pleasant and the "misuser" could be become unpopular.

I think "warez monkey" while colourfull, does not cover ALL misuse.

Maybe the BBC should make a documentary with David Attenborough of the habits of the "Warez Monkeys" in the wild. Many might already have cameras discretely installed in their normal habitats.

Remember folks, the cap is a limit not a target.

I had Metro before I moved house, brilliant service, I got it when it was rolling out, and most of the issue's were cleared up fairly quickly.
