Driver Head Sizes

I'd like to buy a new driver. I had Titleist 973VJS (?) up to a couple of years ago but after the head caved in twice (got a replacement after the first time) I got a Callaway BB Steelhead II new for €90. It's fine. It hits it pretty straight and pretty long but I miss the OOOOH factor of whacking a monster drive (vain I know - truth be told I hit a lot of irons off tees).

I pick up a lot of the new drivers in shops and have been to a couple of driving ranges when they allow you try out their clubs.
But my reaction is always the same.
The heads just seem HUGE. And when I look down at them I the club head face when addressing the ball seems to be convex and I don't feel comfortable.

Am I on my own here? Anyone else prefer not to have these huge heads on drivers? Are there any smaller headed tried and tested drivers that don't compromise on length? (I play off 14 currently)

I used to think that, and it is a bit weird for the first few times. But once you get used to a big headed driver, I don't think you will ever go back.
