I presume someones cousin will have hold of it soon!

No sign of any of the Irish just yet!

Preemptively, don't ask for the address of people's cousins directly on any thread please! Just say that you're cousin's are out of town and hopefully some kind soul will pm you .

My own cousins are sadly out of town at the moment.
Perhaps some kind soul could offer assistance?

My 'uncle' saw ocallagh sh1tting himself as Ivey moved to his table. JoeONeil at the end of the 'Nutz' (as usual) and a interview with Andy...all in hour one.

Waiting for an email from my 'uncle' about hour 2.

when they say hour 1 + hour 2, do they mean that literally?

the first 2 hours of the actual series?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,537 ✭✭✭Ste05

First 2 episodes... First hour is Day 1A,

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 403 ✭✭Lex

    just watched ep 1 there.
Line of the ep is from the commentator: "Jim Cox from North Carolina looks down at suited connectors.... 9,7 clubs..." :D

Image of the ep: ocallagh's face when Ivey walks over to sit at his table with 2 racks of high society!! :)

Andy Black was good and The joe show got a brief look in at the end too.

    And now for day 1b........

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,537 ✭✭✭Ste05

OMG, the standard of play is absolutely TERRIBLE!!! I can't get over it...

And BTW, On Episode 2, I presume that's Ben "The MilkyBar Kid" Grundy on the feature table. He's ALOT younger looking then I thought, he certainly doesn't look 30, unless he's somehow related to Ole Gunnar Solksjaer...
What do people think of his Push with the AA on the river against the Mouth. Obviously he put the mouth on a Q and thought he'd call, but would anyone rather a check expecting a Matusow push, I'm not sure which line I'd prefer....

    Watched ep2 last night.

No way Grundy is 30!?!?

Standard of play is shocking tbh!!

Line of the ep: Blinds 50/100, 7 limpers, most with muck.
    flop comes K,J,T rainbow.
    Player A 3-bets all-in with Q,9...
Player B has KJo and goes into the tank and asks "Do you have the flush???........I call!"
    lmao!!

Yeah I loved that quote, I was in stitches.
Also the hand where Matusow got knocked out was terrible as guy calls Mike's re-raise with KJ, fantastic stuff.
Also, no way that guy is 30, take away the 0 and it's more accurate!

    Haha

"The poker playing world has signed a new sponsor, Bic Lighter, which will become "the official lighter of the World Series of Poker."

In a campaign titled What's Your Poker Face, Bic will have convenience store displays, poker-themed lighters and packaging and branded playing cards. Bic will also host a microsite, flickyourbic.com, where visitors can enter a sweepstakes to win two player seats at the 2007 tournament, writes Brandweek.

The 2006 World Series of Poker drew 8,733 players to Vegas, compared to 5,619 players the previous year."

BigDragon - about ESPN's upcoming coverage, is there any sign of them showing the Tournament of Champions Final Table, the one that Mike Sexton won and the same table that Andy Black was chip leader only to lose the majority in one hand against Negreanu?

btw Episodes 3&4 were delivered on time by my cousins, Joe O'Neill gets a nice spot in at the end (we're going to day 3 baby *does a jig*) and Humberto Brenes torturing Robin Lacey.

Sorry mate, looked for this before and no joy. They will use it later in the year as a pre-amble to the new Circuit episodes Im sure.

    PS

My cousins are very quiet. Fcuking annoying.
