Retro-fitting zone controlled temp heating system

I saw these temp. zone heating controls in a new house today and wondered what the posibilities were of retro fitting my house with a similar system.

I would imagine if I was to use a conventional wired system like this, it would cost a fortune to install - not to mention the disruption and mess.

It got me thinking as to whether there is a wireless system out there that could link with a central point - which was hard wired to the boiler?

If there isnt, surely theres a market for same.
