I know many of you fail to believe that there are good AEPs out there that you'll get for under 100 euro. Well, you're wrong. Very wrong. Today, I purchased a fully-auto, metal, 18c glock. 250 fps. For $80. Shipping is $30 ( I know this seems alot but it is the best you will find, and, taking into account the usual price of this gun, it's not that much to pay). I would recommend www.m4airsoft to any of you. I emailed them and got a reply within minutes. They are extremely helpful, always wanting to speak to new international customers. This is the link to the gun I bought: http://www.m4airsoft.com/Glock18C.html

If anyone has ever used this gun that could give me a few details about it, that would be great.
I've seen some people looking for good AEPs and AEGs on here for a good price, well, this is your gun.

They're in the US, dont forget import duty. I think it works out at nearly 26% overall.

They have 5 guns, mate :p Not a great site, but maybe keep an eye on it anyway

He said he'd mark it "gift" so that I wouldn't be caught with customs :) .

How does that matter? Find that gun on another site for that amount and then we can talk ;)

I've seen people buy guns from that site, so it is legit.

According to Irish law, they cannot charge import duty on anything that is a 'gift' or has a value of less than €45 (including shipping/handling).
So, to charge duty on something that is marked as a gift, they would have to prove that it is not a gift. How are they supposed to do that?

post guy: 'is this really a gift? the box has a label from some airsoft website'
me: 'yeah, my mate owns that airsoft site. He sent me guns as a birthday gift.'

You see what im getting at, how the hell can they prove its not a gift? I ain't paying duty anyway. I'll take the package from the post guy at the door and close the door while he's in the middle of saying i owe duty.

Exactly. Same thing that I'd do.

closing the door in his face aint gonna get you anywhere, odds are they wont hand over the package without duty being paid first, and if you do manage to get it without duty being paid then they'll just send the debt collectors around

to be honest, it does seem to be very hit-and-miss with duty on packages from the US

You'll get a letter saying that they (Customs & Excise) have the parcel and you can pay the duty or else they'll send it back. I ordered €100 worth of stuff off ebay and it was marked as gift but as $60 worth of stuff. Unfortunatley they couldnt read the label (it was quite clear I thought) and asked me to send in the invoice so they knew how much to charge me. After a month of waiting I was happy to pay the €24 or so. Luckily money isn't a problem for me atm.

If you're concerned about accuracy, real steel Glock handguns aren't full metal anyway. They are made of ABS plastic, except for the top slide, the trigger the hammer and a few other parts.
With this gun, it doesn't copy the patented Glock trigger safety. A small thing, I know. A lot of people who are involved in airsoft are concerned with accuracy (it's what separates airsofters from paintballers). However, not all are. Skirmishing should really be about a balance between accuracy and practicality. You don't want your weapons breaking down on the field.

The rule in airsoft is generally you get what you pay for. In many cases the airsoft replica is more expensive than its real steel counterpart. However, I would be interested to see a review of this gun. Alternatively, you could try searching the forums on arniesairsoft.co.uk for references to this site.

I find the best gear is Japanese and is best bought from Hong Kong from companies such as uncompany.com wgcshop.com or airsoft-war4.com. They do the little 'gift' trick aswell. This is tax evasion and therefore I do not condone such action. However, as you point out, it is difficult to prove that it is not a gift. I must point out that the customs officers have a habit of tripping up best laid plans. So be aware. It's not that much anyway, 25 euro or so for this pistol I would say. If you're shipping from the states, most companies will make you prepay the customs. I don't know how this vendor expects to get around that.

Can you explain what you mean by this? I don't mind paying cutoms, I'd just rather not:p
    Review of this gun here:http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/reviewpost/showproduct.php/product/143/sort/2/cat/20/page/1

This will be my first gun, and I'm convinced I've got a good deal.

What I mean is, even though you have asked the vendor to put 'gift' on the box, customs officers can still confiscate the gun, and attach a value to it, to which they can calculate the duties. Just be aware.

Secondly, the review that you posted is not of the gun you are talking about. That is a Tokyo Marui AEP. About $130 US. What you are talking about on that American website is definetely NOT a Tokyo Marui, but is a cheap knock off. Just so you know.

Still, let us know how it works. It could be a good cheap knock-off. Although, I'm not holding my breath in anticipation of that happening.
