    Nikon D70 with either 17-55mm f/2.8 or Tamron 90mm f/2.8 Macro.
    I own an SB-800 flash + diffuser but as far as I recall all of those
    were taken using ambient light only and mostly wide open or close
    to to get isolation of subject/background.

    Nice. You should print out a few of these and frame them and put them round your house. My dad has done that with some flower pics he has. It looks good.
