Leaving a moped at airport overnight

Just wondering has anyone left a bike overnight at Dublin airport ? I've got a plane to catch at rush hour next Friday & taking the moped seems the only option to ensure I get there in time, I'm back home Saturday, and wondering is there any safe-ish nooks & crannies I could park, I don't want to park in long-term car parks.
Has anyone left a bike in the short-stay car park overnight ?
    Thanks in advance.

Don't do it. Very strong risk of it being stolen, vandalised or just reversed into by some clueless hit-and-run cager. The CCTV in the car parks doesn't often work (so I hear) and several high-end bikes have been stolen from there in the last while.

In Cavan there was a great fire / Judge McCarthy was sent to inquire / It would be a shame / If the nuns were to blame / So it had to be caused by a wire.

I'm sure if you pop down to the car parks control building you'd be proven otherwise.

Yup, I'd go with that Stevo. There are quite a few bikes parked on the ground floor of Block A. There are a few nooks and crannies around there and it's relatively safe especially near the centre mall/corridor as that area is always busy and regularly policed.

Well, a friend of a friend had a rather expensive BMW bike stolen from there recently and the CCTV - the camera he needed, anyway - wasn't working.

CCTV doesn't deter thieves, this has been proven time and time again.
Alarms don't deter theieves, unless you're within earshot and have a baseball bat handy.
Crowds of Joe Public don't deter thieves either, they don't give a toss about anyone fiddling with a bike, bikes are stolen from very busy areas in Dublin city centre all the time in broad daylight.
There does seem to be a gang targeting Dublin Airport for bike thefts.

I wouldn't leave my bike anywhere overnight in this country save, my house, a friends house, work, or inside a ferry at sea. I would not leave it anywhere open to the public.

I carpark would probaly leave it in the airport before I'd leave it anywhere else though but I'd disappear off to the most out of the way corner of the short term carpark building. I'd suggest spending 20 minutes or so driving around the various carpark block A, B & C and finding a nice place to slot your bike in so that you could chain it to something big and heavy.

No harm in linking chains with somebody else eithier. Also consider bringing your bike cover if you have one and cover the bike up. Thieves will probaly not want to spend all the time in the world messing about.

Thanks for all the replies & tips, yes it is a bit of a worry re. getting bike nicked, cctv is really only ever used/useful if someone gets attacked/murdered, no use for property being nicked. Hmm, not sure what to do.

I parked my car up in the grass with a sign "Funeral director on official business" and it was there when I came back from London.
