    Hi,

    We have a short term contract available for a helpdesk analyst in Newbridge.

    The position is initially for 3 months, long term is unknown at the moment. The support is for approx 1600 users mainly phone based, problems solved by remote access. Excellent experience working with multiple applications and systems and great experience working with a globally recognised company.

    I hate to stick my modding oar in here, but I'd appreciate it if you could include a little more info.
    I can't disclose what company it is either, but if you're going to post the job up here for that particular company, I don't see why you can't attach a job spec document or even a list of basic requirements, given the size and stature of said company.

    We appreciate you coming here to post jobs, but you do realise that you haven't even used the phrase "I.T.", so people have no idea really what type of candidate you're looking for.

    Responsibilities:

    To provide 1st level support to users
    To provide customer support on a variety of technologies
    To install, configure and support various computing equipment
    Deliver solutions to agreed Service Level Agreements

    Requirements

    Relevant qualification and/or IT helpdesk experience
    Good knowledge of hardware and software: Severs, Desktop PCs, laptops and printers, Microsoft Desktop applications and Microsoft operating systems
    LAN, TCP/IP & supporting productivity tools (e.g.: MS Office, etc)
    Microsoft certifications

    Essential Skills

    Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
    The ability to prioritise and manage time effectively
    Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
    Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in team environment



    Evening shift from 4.30 – 12.30 which is rotated between all helpdesk analysts
