    Hi there

I'm going to Delhi via Istanbul. Spending new year in Istanbul and then heading for Delhi. Anyone any experience with getting visas for India and Turkey?

Actually... anyone know of any decent reasonably priced hotels in the centre of Istanbul?

For India, you're looking at 5 business days for a six-month multiple-entry tourist visa. Costs about €30 as far as I can remember, but that could be way off. Available in person at the embassy on Leeson Park in Dublin. So it's probably worth getting one here as opposed to in Constantinople ... sorry, Istanbul

You can get the Turkish visa on arrival for €10.

Turkey's about € 10 on the way in. You get a sticker for your passport.
