    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

Because of the full history, you should get about €4k for it privately

A Toyota Avensis we bought new in 2002 for €25k is worth a little over €10k now.

    Consider yourself blessed.

The current book value of a 2000 Fiat Bravo 80 1.2 is € 3, 600 with mileage similar to yours.

In the real world the car will fetch €2,750-€2850 privately, and should be worth about €3,500 against an average €20,000 car. Cars similar to your's can be bought in the auctions for around €1,500

You'll probably get more for it if you trade it in against something, they're not the easiest to sell straight tbh.

If it was a HSX you might have some chance, but SX models have too low spec.

Indeed book value would be a lot lower. I'd still be confident enough to get about €4k privately with a fully documented history for a good car. Without history (trade book value does not appreciate documented history) it's worth less than €3k in a private sale
