    hi im a 16y/o girl living near cork city and i want to start kickboxing, so does anyone know somewhere it can be done in the cork area?

    Give the Cork Thai Boxing guys a try. Having felt the wrath of their leg kicks i'd recommend it in a flash. Also they seem like a nice bunch and you don't necessarily have to be ring bound. You can just start off training.

    if you look at www.muaythaireland.com excellent Thai Kickboxing club. highly recommended.

    Overall I think Kickboxing is an excellent choice for you, and you will really enjoy it!
