What to do? I don't have much on oleenk, but from the few hands I've seen him play he hasn't made any mistakes.

Has he raised and folded to a reraise on the flop before or just check folded? If he hasn't folded to a reraise I would just call here everytime and hope to hit a club or pair, but would fold to a big bet if I only make a pair unless of course you think you are ahead.

he has made small raises on the flop out of position and folded to re-raises. small raises being 4*BB

In that case I might try reraising hoping he'd fold. The guy after you would then need a pretty strong hand to continue. Another perfectly reasonable option as I see it would to be just call so as not to scare off the guy behind and build a larger pot if you hit the flush.

I think the thing about just calling here is what do you do if the guy after you puts in a reraise? Do you call it hoping for your flush or fold.

With your read on the villain I would reraise here and that in turn will give you more info on the player following you, with a call whether your opponent just calls or raises after you doesnt really give you too much info imo, as he may have the read of the villains betting pattern too.

well I was thinking a raise would be good too. as I would find out straight away where I stook with oleerik. but I think I got a little excited in out-city

I raised to 10, oleerik folded, and villian went all in for another 7. I called and didn't improve.

Did I over bet the flop?

Thats unlucky (well, a little perhaps). Did you have 9 or 15 outs? Looks like KQs is hot on the heels of KQo in your stats :rolleyes:

Oh I had 15, the guy was holding pocket 9's!

I better start watching them KQ's allright! I thought if he was holding 2nd pair, the big raise would take him off it.
