    Hi,

Has anyone applied for a chinese visa yet?

We're going to china but have not informed our employers yet and really don't want to yet. There is a field for the contact number of Office Telephone for where I work and I was wondering will they definately contact my office if I provide that number?

    Any info would be appreciated.

For a holiday visa? They are very unlikely to need to contact you while processing your visa.

Aye just a holiday visa for one week.

I might tempt fate. Thanks Davros.

You're grand so. I've got plenty of visas from them in the past and I've never had them come back to me for more info.

I'm on my way to Oz and some friends are living in Shenzhen just inside the border from Hong Kong. We could only really afford a week as we're visiting Thailand and Cambodia too. Having spoken to my friends about China I'm sick now I booked only a week cos they say its magical. I'm hoping to be able to fly back at some stage during my stay in Oz..

Live and learn - I'm only 24 so repeat visits are possible!
