Friend of mine asked me (me?) whether or not to get an Isuzu Trooper, as there is one going cheap (00 I think with about 100 k miles for under 7k)

I read somewhere that they are prone to leaking injectors, which leads to diesel diluting the engine oil and (worst case scenario) the engine running on its own oil, unstoppable until exitus

    Is this correct?

If so ...how would one see if that's been rectified?

oh, and also ...does anyone know the "real world" mpg on these tractors ...couldn't be over 30, could it?
