Lighting up the wick at Wax this week is Martin Smyth and Dave Prior who played a devastating set for us on their EC debut back in Traffic in March this year. The lads have been playing for about six years and the last four as a deadly duo and they will be utilising the full potential of Serato for this night. Dave & Martin are residents at the Junction nights and reckon they have played some of their best sets at certain quasi-legal outdoor parties over the past few years. Finishing off the night is the hairiest & hardest member of our crew of residents Rian Ryan. Recently Rian has been making a name for himself away from the decks with his after hour antics at various parties and festivals around the country [yes he is the man that’s keeping youtube in business]. One of the most versatile DJ's around, a set from Rian can contain more styles than Juno's warehouse. Never one to shy away from a mix, his deck skills have to be heard to be believed and if he keeps pulling new tricks out of his beard, it won’t be long until he's called the new Richie Parker. Rian will be back at EC in November supporting Technasia and in the same month he will also be making his Electric Shock debut supporting Rush and Bold in the Temple Bar Music Centre.
