    exuse my ignorance lookin at buyin a civic not sure what the difference,if any , is between these 2 civics performance wise!greatful for any help cheers

    The sir is the jap vtec whereas the Vti is the uk vtec model.

    Theres about 10-12 bhp difference on paper.Vti being 160 Sir being 170.

    Ecu and exhaust is different in the sir compared to Vti,and ive heard claims of different compression but in not so sure on that.Sir's power figure is also quoted on 100 octane.

    Sir's came with the option of limited slip diff(lsd) whereas the Vti's didnt.
