Hey there need a bit of help here as i'm not that computer orientated. my girlfriend recently downloaded a stupid fitness cd she got with her cereal recently onto my laptop. anyhow everytime i logged on it would open up so i deleted it (or so i thought). know everytime i log on it tries to download from the net and it's getting somewhat frustrating closing it everytime. i've tried searching for the programe on the drives but it keeps coming up negative. any ideas on how i can rid myself of this would be greatly appreiciated. it's a dell laptop with windowsxp.

Is the program listed under Add/Remove programs? (Start->Control panel->add/remove programs). If so remove it from there.

Do you have the name of teh fitness CD?

Also I've edited the thread title to better reflect the topic.

Sounds like something is in the hkey_local_machine/software/microsoft/windows/currentversion/run and is running a program everytime you start the PC, tbh. Could be wrong, tho. If I'm no, it'll say where on your drive the program is still located.
