    I saw outside an big brand electronics store recently loads of washing machines and tvs. Some of them looked to be in great condition. I assume they were given in when they bought new ones.


    I want love to get my hands on some of this stuff? Do you think if I asked the manager he would let me take what I want?

    In the past Singer made their fortune by destroying traded in sewing machines to keep them out of circulation. If it's a different brand then they won't make any money on it. Try freecycle or the wanted section. 75,000 people , someone may be throwing out some white goods soon.
