Stolen car

    My car was stolen on Saturday night in Rathgar. It's a white BMW 316i saloon with registration K771 SLY. If anybody sees it around can you let me know. Thanks.

    what sort of security did you have on it? immobiliser? alarm?

    What year would that be? E36 or E46 and does it have any unique features as most likely if spotted if will be with false plates.

    IIRC, K-reg will be either 91/92 or 92/93, so could be a late e30, but more likely an early e36.

    Did it have the reg number etched on the glass (sometimes British cars have that)? Just in case it gets fake plates.

    Squiggles - can you ever make positive comments, or do you get a kick out of ALWAYS knockings people?

    oh sorry, i thought you were on holidays.... English reg and all that.

    well if that's the case have you tried the revenue commissioners/customs they may of confiscated it.

    Don't customs have to wait for the driver to be present? Saw them watching a car for almost 2 days recently (it was clamped outside work) until the owner came back to it, at which point they sat in and drove it away!

    probably so.... i have no idea to be honest... just thought it might be a place to check.
