hey all, was in town last night with a few friends and we found an umbrella in supermacs...
we went outside after a while and a friend of mine hit another guy i was with with the umbrella for the laugh.. all lighthearted of course.. the guy turns around, thinks i did and smacks me on the head with the umbrella splitting my head about an inch at the top of my forehead..

luckily the red cross ambulance was right beside me and there was a red cross shack thing down the road (the rose fesitvals on so they're set up around the place) so i had to get 2 stiches after getting an injection into my head which really hurt.. owwie..

they cleaned off most of the blood but theres still alot in my hair but im afraid to have a shower coz im afraid i'll **** it up or something.. :(

    thoughts?

A couple of weeks ago i was out in Thompsons in Belfast on a Sunday night and someone threw a pint glass at me from the balcony overlooking the dance floor, it smashed right on top of my head... i feel your pain. I was dizzy and couldn't see straight for days.

The blood will harden and can be picked out, wash with soapy water - don't use shampoo, and don't direct the showerhead at the cut. Then shower as normal in 1-2 days. For now, go to bed...or have a bath with syrinx. oO

Go to the fúcking doctor if you're that worried.

    Wait....kerrymen have brains now? :p

Seriously though, get some warm to hot water with plenty of table salt in it and some cotton wool and dab the dried up blood out of your hair and scalp. Don't put sh*t like shampoo or that on it...salt will keep any infection away and will disolve the needless parts of the scab.

Then go to a doctor and have the stitches looked at...

Right OP, I think you have your answers. Give the doctor a buzz and ask him when its safe to go ahead and wash your hair with shampoo or whatever. Otherwise take a shower but mind getting anything near the stiches as they might be those disolving ones. Good luck.
