Hand 2 it looks like your well ahead. He could be trying to isolate the BB here with a high A or 2 pair. Would he push here with a flopped straight or AA?

Hand 2 I call every time. Hand 1 I think I would pay this guy off, if he really plays that many hands he is probably prone to overplaying top pair hands postflop as well even if you havent seen him do this yet. Also you have most of your stack already in. Against other players I would fold.

I think you should have made up your mind what to do if you get check raised before you bet.
