This is an area I'm not to sure on myself but is the the coax connection on your tuner of the F-plug or phono type see Maplins screenshot ?

F-plug being the connection type on the left.

According to Maplin's in order to convert scart/composite video you need whats called an RF modulator which outputs the phono/coax style connection.

Disclaimer: I could be totally wrong on this, never tried any of this myself.

Looking over Lifeviews products on their website they almost all support some sort of multi-AV input with composite-s-video it's surprising yours doesn't, though in the OEM section the mini PCI products I get the feeling it is up to the OEM to implement the inputs.

Ah I see what you mean, very limited on the in/outputs.

An external USB tuner could always do the job if the RF modulator doesn't pan out, you should find an adaptor as well on Maplins that will convert the F plug into the phono coax connection if need be.

i have this adaptor already ..Ill give the RF modulator a go but i wonder if MCE will be able to scan the channels or just pick up each channel as your veiwing it .If it had of had other input i could have used my AV Senders to hook it up ..on my laptop i was using a pcmcia tv card but the system would only pick up one channel the one you have on at the time ???
    anyhow thanks

ntl doesnt output digital over rf,
youll get the 16 analog channels only.

i used an rf modulator for this a while back.
cost me 70eu in maplin but gives better picture quality than the composite imo.
only problem is mono sound over rf on my tv card so switched back to composite
