    In 2005 the Maths requirement for I.T in NUIG changed, does anyone know what it changed to??

    I'll rephrase that... Do YOU know what it changed to.. if so, then what was it?

    It changed from a B3 to an A2 in pass maths.
    My B1 in pass maths in 2004 got me into the course but changed after. The maths is very difficult, it was in a small part of the reason I left the course (rarely going to the lectures if ever and not even going to my two class exams in maths at X-Mas was another!!!!)

    I see, I did the special maths entrance exam there yesterday.. it was pretty heavy stuff! I got a B in Pass in the LC, but it seemed like this whole test was based on honours maths, I think I passed it anyhow!

    What are the hours like for I.T???????

    lets just say you'll be envious of those doing Arts!! for example when i was in IT and my friends were doin arts it was like...me 30 hours p/w to their 15hrs p/w. but if ya keep on top of things you wont need to go to all the tutorials..although some of them are compulsary which was really annoying!!
    Another good thing was that with things like labs and that you could get your assignments done in the labs so you were making good use of your time, freeing up evening time instead of having to do "homework" and all while earning a few more marks for attendance ;) You'll learn all the tricks as ya go along!!hehe
