I'm looking for a reciever with Viaccess embedded that can cope with an art sports card. It will be used as a 2nd reciever so do not want to spend a fortune. If not a viable option with via embedded any other suggestions would be appreciatted?

I'm no expert on this, but if the receiver has a CI slot (looks and is similar to laptop PCMCIA/PCcard slot) then you buy a suitable Viaccess CAM. Or in some case you can buy a CAM that will do different encryption modes.

This is the kind of receiver for non-Sky Pay TV. Pay TV receivers vary from €180 to €1000 depending on features.

use google and look in adverts/reviews in Tele-Satellite (available on Line) and What Satellite .

I already have lots of recievers, dragon cams etc. Just have a spare art card and I want to set it up in a bedroom. All my recievers are all in use, so just looking at options as money is the problem at the moment. So i need either a via embedded reciever or like you say a reciever and a via or multicrypt cam (I thought the latter option would be more expensive). Tony really doesn't have what I'm looking for this time.

Note this is not buy & sell forumn so use discrete sig or PM.

The Maplin €134 model seems related to SL65 (Lidl) & Palcom Hardware but with different user interface. Seems OK.
