While changing the gearbox on my Passat, the balls feel out of the inner CV join on one of the shafts. Cant figure out for the life of me how it goes together without using a press.

So im looking for a reconditioned set. Any ideas where I could pick one up?

The only time I've come across recon CVJs is from a main VW dealer. Long ago (about 1999/2000) they cost IR£99 +VAT from a main dealer. Significantly cheaper than the IR£200+ for a new one. If you do go to a dealer they will want your old joint as part exchange or ask for a deposit until you return it.
