Rent Problems

    Help,

We have just rented a property for six months, we had lots of problems, no cold water for a week, no heating for a week etc and eventually we found some where else to live which was fine. We had just had a six month lease and gave it up. There were no problems at the time and we gave a lot of notice to both the landlord and the managing agent an estate agent in Abbeyfeale.

Well now the problems start, we dropped off the keys no deposit. We have been chasing for two months now, no deposit no contact and the estate agent is blaming the landlord saying that it was his fault as he had given the deposit to him. In the meanwhile he is making little or no effort to contact him, what can we do?

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks
