i am slightly confused as to what you are supposed to do. do i have a character or something. i have screen moving but with nothing being controlled

you move the mouse where you want your little fella to go and eat stuff, get to the lower level (by eating the ones with the red dot) to evolve

If you can get your creature to wiggle into the shape of an ampersand ("&"), it will grow a top hat, and the soundtrack will change into a medley of tap-dance tunes from "Gold Diggers Of 1929".

WAs good at the start, but now all the things that you eat have gone, im jsut wandering around on my own!!! It is impossible to get it into an ampersand, anybody had any luck with that?

yeah, that's the objective from what i can gather. some organisms do different things like increase your size, fill your body up, give you fins, make your mouth bigger, send you higher or deeper levels, and even attack you.

if you eat the amoeba things with the red dot (they appear as a red circle to guide you if they're not on screen) you go down a level. similarly the ones with the white dot bring you up a level. stuff is only finite, so after you have cleared at a certain depth you have to go down to the next.

On the button there. The blue-centred blobs (that pulse blue when off screen) bring you up. The red-centred blobs (that pulse red when off screen) bring you down. Of the other collectibles, the ones with the cross in them (that you get from particularly large enemies) extend your creature and the others merely supply your creature with life and bulk depending on whats needed.

You can only kill the 'enemies' by sending your mouth-piece over one of their 'lives' (glowing circles on enemy) and they in turn can hurt you by hitting your 'lives'.

The last time i played it, i got down to where the background is pure black and giant manta rays swarm around with smaller ones shooting around faster than you. Very intimidating.

i killed a couple of big yokes and ate a yellow blob and whoosh back to the top.
