Portable Storage Viewer......

So I've got a question that some of you may be able to help answer. I have a customer of mine (I work in a camera shop) that's looking for a portable storage device. I've shown her the Epson P-4000 which she loves but the screen isn't a big as she'd like.

I've also sorced out an Archos AV700 for her.http://www.archos.com/products/video/av_700/index.html?country=ie&lang=en

Screen size is great, battery length is perfect but just wondering if anyone knows if it'll work with a Canon 1D MKII Ns? (See the part on the site about USB host connection and mass storage)

    Any help would be great
    Cheers
    A.

I thought them Archos units were prone to overheating ,have read that some of them almost went on fire.

The screen resolution would not be acceptable for viewing photographs IMHO, I've seen it and while it plays video well I wouldnt use it for viewing photos.

Btw, how much do you charge for the Epson?

I have to confirm the price with my supplier on Monday but I think (and I stress think) that I can get it for E599.

I have the Archos AV500, what I do with is is just connect a card reader to it and transfer the files on it that way. The screen is'nt to bad for reviewing images as you can zoom x4 and check for softness. The only thing is the AV700 is very big the 500 is about the same size as the epson mayde smaller I think so is a lot easier for carrying around.
Plus the archos can play divx and MP3's and its a fair bit cheaper than the epson.

PS. Handy Hint for AV500 is you can use sony PSP chargers also Game do a usb connector with charger for the PSP at 10euro's so you can charge your archos from your desktop or laptop or one of the car cigarrete lighter usb adapters.
