Jamming Keys

    Hi,
some of my keys on the laptop are starting to jam a bit, they need a heavy press to get them to type the character. It might just be a case of dust or dirt under neath them as it comes and goes with different keys. This is my laptop keyboard. Do these keys just clip off if you lift them up with a knife of something similar and clip back on when you're finished? Any suggestions for cleaning out the dirt?

    Any feedback appreciated:)

You might have to get a hold of your computer manual to see if you can remove the keys, it probably won't be a problem. You could get a can of compressed air and that would clean some of the dirt that might be built up. Whats the make/model of your laptop?

Thanks for the feedback. It's an Acer Aspire model 5020, I think the exact model I have is a 5021i or something?

Ruu, you keep the same crazy hours I do and you always seem to be on boards when I am too. Haha.
